That was the best review I have read of the Shack. I appreciated that Keller refrained from completely demonizing the book and actually praised certain aspects of the story. I also appreciated how Keller avoided talking about Modalism and all the other “heresys” that are usually brought up in reviews of The Shack. I don’t believe that those sorts of reviews for a book like The Shack, which was written for popular consumption, are particularly helpful. So, in my opinion, Keller’s criticism are much more well-founded.
